Radioactive Materials Licensing

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the State of Maine Board of Radiation Control requires that any facility that receives, acquires, possesses, or uses radioactive materials obtains a radioactive materials license. This includes industrial use, as well as medical use of radioactive material.
