Shielding Calculations

Many State regulatory agencies, including Maine, require that shielding designs be submitted for approval prior to any x-ray installation. Physics Consultants, Inc. will provide a shielding design report based on calculations made in accordance with the recommendations of the National Council on Radiation Protection (NCRP) as set forth in NCRP Reports No. 33, 34, 35 and 49, and the regulations of the State.
